Questions

Frequently asked.

What is a pre-submission assessment?

It's a professional review of your coin's surfaces, strike, lustre and eye appeal to estimate the grade range it would likely receive from PCGS — and, just as importantly, to flag problems (cleaning, scratches, environmental damage) that would result in a "details" grade. The goal is to help you decide whether certification is worth the cost before you pay for it.

Do you guarantee a grade?

No — and be wary of anyone who does. Only PCGS assigns grades. Our assessment is an informed professional opinion intended to support your decision, not a promise of outcome.

Do I need a PCGS membership to submit through you?

No. As an Authorized PCGS Dealer we can submit on your behalf. You complete the submission form (we'll help), send us your coins, and we handle the rest.

What kinds of coins do you work with?

Our focus is Canadian and international silver and gold — from pre-confederation and early Dominion silver through modern Royal Canadian Mint issues, bullion Maple Leafs, and U.S. and world gold and silver. If you're unsure, ask — we'll tell you honestly whether it's in our wheelhouse.

How do I book a consultation?
